Management of food technology and gastronomy workshops as part of Tempus project „Modernization and Harmonization of Tourism study programmes in Serbia“

 

„Creative gastronomy“, 13.11.2015.

 

On 13th November, 2015, a workshop, “Creative gastronomy” was organized in the diner of Higher Business School of Leskovac. This workshop is one of the activities of the Management of food technology and gastronomy study program. This study programs was accredited in the Tempus project „Modernization and Harmonization of Tourism study programmes in Serbia“.

The lectures and trainings were held by chefs of well-known restaurants and hotels, Nikola Biševac, Aleksandar Ilić, Aleksandar Tomić and Ljubiša Stojanović, all members of WASC and representatives of „Junior Chief Club“.
Participants of the training were presented with „KOTANYI” spices and products of „McCain“company. Participants also learned how to use the above mentioned products in gastronomy in a creative way. Present at the workshop were both HBS students (study program Management of food technology and gastronomy) and High Schools of Hospitality students (schools from Vučje, Leskovac, Vranje, Niš, Vrnjačka Banja). Other participants were representatives of hospitality entities, famous chefs of South Serbian restaurants and hotels.
