All ECTS a student achieves during a mobility period (previously authorized by the Learning Agreement/Learning Agreement for Traineeship) are recognized as part of study program of a particular level of study. Recognition of results are based on principles of transparency, flexibility and righteousness.

After a HBSL student (participant of outgoing mobility) receives his/her Transcript of Records or Transcript of Work from HEI (host), achieved and authorized ECTS in the Learning Agreement/Learning Agreement for Traineeship are transferred to a student’s file without further ado. Student is required to timely submit to the authorized School’s ECTS Coordinator all relevant documents related to the realized mobility. Authorized ECTS Coordinator is obligated to issue a Decree on Academic Recognition of the Mobility Period typically in a time period of 7 days prior to the start of the semester in which the student continues the program at his/her home institution, as well as to send the aforementioned to the student and the Student Services so all the necessary administrative details in regards to the realized mobility can be regulated. Academic recognition of the mobility period is a procedure through which the authorized Academic ECTS Coordinator determines the results that the student achieved on exchange and decides on the manner of recognition of the passed examswhich is then confirmed subsequent to the finalized procedure by the Decree on Academic Recognition of the Mobility Period. If the administrative procedure is not finalized within the time period stated above, the School is obligated to facilitate the continuation of the student’s studies even without registering the listed data, as well as to finalize the said procedure in the shortest possible time.

HBSL issues a signed and stamped Transcript of Records (English version) to the participants of incoming mobility. This Transcript of Records includes complete information on courses that an incoming mobility student has attended: titles of courses, number of ECTS, grades (with the description of the institution’s grading system), study program duration and additional information (if considered relevant).

HBSL supports staff mobility by undertaking measures, promoting and enhancing the attractiveness of mobility programs. Mobility is part of staff’s professional development and an integral part of HBSL Internationalization strategy. Therefore, Office for projects and international cooperation promotes mobility of members of its staff as an opportunity to spend a particular amount of time of their professional development at one of partner institutions. After a successful completion of HBSL staff member mobility period, all realized activities (in a particular program) will be recognized as part of a staff member’s professional development.

The necessary information that are to attract candidates to apply for mobility programs are shared via different communication means such as: HBSL web page, social networks, e-mail communication, study programs’ catalogues, oral recommendation, a staff mobility guide. The entire mobility program, application conditions, required documentation as well as previous experience of mobility participants are in English. HBSL encourages, promotes and disseminates information on staff mobility: through staff meetings, info sessions, taking about positive experience of partner institutions, use of internet for sharing mobility experience…

Mobility experience is disseminated in different ways depending on the type of program (presentations, written reports, articles published on School’s web site and social networks).
